As I understand, this was exactly root cause of the ER-L corrupt downloads issue. There offload engine was recalculating (as such correcting) incoming incorrect checksums that were supposed not to be corrected.
I know the ER-X and ER-L do not share the offload code, but the nature of the issue may be very similar.
