Thanks. Right now the ERX is powered by the supplied wall-wart, while the Unifi AP is powered by the supplied 24v 0.5a POE injector in between the ERX and AP: WAN=>ERX (wallwart) => PoE => AP
I could put the 12watt PoE injector upstream: WAN=>PoE=> ERX => AP
but I had conflicting info as to whether the 24v/0.5a (i.e. 12watt) PoE could handle both the ERX and AP.
If the supplied PoE is too weak, does: WAN=>PoE=> ERX (wallwart)=> AP
work (i.e., having PoE upstream of the ERX but powering the ERX from its wallwart and passing thru the PoE)?
if there was some other way to delay or block port 4, I'd be open to that as well.
