Re: ERL was fast but not is very slow - Centurylink says its my issue

It was suggested to upgrade to the non-GA firmware as it allowed PPPoE configuration. I did such. The router would not come back online. I rebooted it, it would not come online. I reset it, it would boot and then die, stop responding to ping and become inaccessible.

 

In the end I had to console in with a serial/RJ-45 Cisco cable. 

 

The good news is after fixing everything and getting back on v1.8.5 and reconfiguring most of the settings I am getting 500Mbps. This is nearly half the speed I should but at least its progress.
