Site to Site VPN - established but seems unstable

Hi,

I have my site to site VPN connection now working for some weeks between 2 Edgemax (one Lite, one Pro).

I have a rsnasphot script running over that connection, so every 4 hours there is something happening that needs this connection.

I noticed that only one out of several attempts seems to find the VPN connection ok and established, most of the attempts fail because the script is not able to reach the other machine.

I was wondering if there is a way to monitor the VPN connection and to see some kind of a log of how it is going?

I'm not posting my configs because I'm trying to learn how to fish:-) bear with me.
