Hi

Does SFP SC modules with Ubiquiti routers work?

My provider can provide me with only such a cable.

Thank you.

You need to transition from SC to LC - and there are jumpers to do this easily.   You need to know if the fiber is Single Mode or MultiMode, and get the appropriate jumper(s) in whatever length you need.

Then you will need a double-female SC header (can get them as single units, bare or in Keystone format, or in casettes to go inside a cable tray.

Then you just plug them all together into the correct SFP for your connection type - again, depends on what the carrier is feeding you.   As Claude said above the only SFPs generally used with a single SC connector (that's all that will physically fit) are either GPON (usually at the head end) or BiDirectional  CWDM - if their feed is duplex (two fibers) then you need what I outlined above.

In most short haul cases in a Data Center it's probably MultiMode 850nm.
