I created the VLAN and set the ip. I am now able to reach the EP-R6 via that IP.
This created some more questions for me.
If I want a port to carry VLAN 2, 3 and 4, I would add VID 2, 3 and 4 to that interface under switch config.
How is that different to adding three VLAN interfaces to a port for VLAN 2,3 and 4?
For reference on a mikrotik if i want a port to carry VLAN 2 , 3 and 4 would would create VLAN interfaces under the port for each of those vlans.
Please help me understand what I can accomplish by adding VLAN interfaces to a port instead of adding VID to the switch config.
Thanks,
Dave
