Please help me design my home network for best performance.
I have fiber2home solution with 250 Mbit, an Edge router(ERPoe-5) + an 24 gigabit switch(TP-link)
some of my devices require PoE(2 access points and 1 camera) I need more ports than 24 outlets from the switch.
So what’s the best?
1. Configure one LAN from ERPoe-5(Bridge eth 2-4 for PoE), use my 24-ports switch, add another switch connected to the first switch?
2. Configure 2 LAN from ERPoe-5, use my 24-ports switch to one LAN, another switch connected to the second LAN(With PoE functionality)?
3. Configure one LAN from ERPoe-5, replace my 24 switch with an 48 switch that can handle PoE
In the configuration wizard I can read...that bridging eth port 2-4 reduce performance, but is it better to let ERPoe-5 handle it, or switches out in the chain?
