It could be possible that your internet speed is not fast enough to support both at the same time.


But that would be strange because smart queue should prioritize video stream first then file transfer.

what edgerouter do you have?

Could you set the download speed on the smart queue to 20mbit down and 1.5up to see if that helps?

Also make sure that the modem supplied from your isp doesn't have qos set up incorrectly.

Also does your switch have qos on it?

If so try turning it off for a bit to see if that helps
