You need to set a manual route on clients that live on 192.168.2.0/24 that uses 192.168.2.1 as the gateway only for packets destined for 192.168.1.0/24.I don't know what kind of device 192.168.2.254...

I got a (stupid) followup question. PC's (Win10) on 192.168.2.x can access the NAS 192.168.1.55 - that works fine, so that required funcionality is there. but I suppose there is no way to get the NAS...
