i have decided to revert back to the standard "non-ad-blocking" status
1. sudo chmod -x /config/user-data/update-adblock-dnsmasq.sh
2, checked crontab -e... but i couldn t find the dnsmasq line anymore
3. sudo /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart
and i guess that i am now ad friendly Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
ps. i did that because :
a. i found out that a real estate website wasn't showing me the contact details any more (click here to see the complete phone number of the real estate agent = resulted in a blank space)
i didn't want to discover the hard way that other websites are not functioning 100% (and having to add new exceptions to adblock-dnsmasq file every time)
b. i want to cut any unnnecessary load on the router... so i can enjoy using it for a long time at max speeds
for example ip filter rules... drastically reduces the transfer speed (example : bottom specifications on https://routerboard.com/RB750Gr2 )
