WAN+2LAN to Load Balancing

Next week I'm getting a second internet connection which I want to use as a failover connection. So I'm looking to change from WAN+2LAN to Load Balancing. I have already looked into the wizard and setting this up doesn't seem that difficult, but I'm wondering if my firewall and DHCP (to name a few) settings will be reset or if they will remain intact. Maybe it's possible to migrate without using the wizard?

This is my current setup:

eth0: WAN

eth1: LAN

eth1.30: VLAN for guest WLAN

eth2: unused

eth2 will be the failover which I only want to use when eth0 fails.

What is LAN-to-LAN exclusion by the way and should I use it?
