DJMartin.. Honestly, you might want to be a bit more respectful to Ubiquiti's employees and others here.. Just saying (as it kind of sounds as though you believe you know more than the guys who developed the product, which is a tad odd, especially given that you admit you just purchased this product).
But if you re-read, the person you are quoting said no issues with /24 on their end (only /16), and unless I read things incorrectly, you implied at least, you were only using /24 ?
As mentioned, you should honestly consider the possibility that if /24 wasn't working in the 10.x.x.x subnet, that the forums would be likely full of complaints (which hasn't happened). Australia's biggest ISP actually uses 10.x.x.x/24, so at least those users would have hit a roadblock. Unless you actually meant by 10.x.x.x that you are using /8
