Any help would be appreciated as I've been trying to get this to work for days. I am trying to connect the ER-X to a consumer-grade TL-WR902AC that has "Client Mode" functionality where the device acts as a wireless adapter via its ethernet jack. I'd like to connect eth4 on my ER-X to this adapter, and eventually dual-WAN load balance between the existing WAN on eth0 and the backup WAN on eth4. The problem is that as soon as I connect the ER-X to the adapter, the ERX obtains a WAN IP on eth4, but then begins dropping it intermittently, thus making access unstable. For the time being I have modified the NAT masquerade to eth4 and disabled eth0 to test this setup. When I connect my laptop to the WR902AC, it works perfectly fine. What could possibly be the issue and how could I go about troubleshooting this? The wireless network the adapter is connecting to is actually a wifi "hotspot" hosted on my premises but that I do not have control over, but the MAC of the eth4 interface is pre-authorized so it is not a captive portal issue and internet does work, albeit intermittently.
