Re: OSPF equal cost not working/setup right

Just for kicks I setup a vlan between .7 and .1 and setup OSPF on it.  But after reading 's post I removed it to try other stuff.  Now I see that the .7 router has a second route to the core network.  It did not have that before, I can confirm that by my original post.

Here is the .7 route(s)

C    *> 10.0.0.0/16 is directly connected, eth0
O       10.0.0.0/16 [110/1] is directly connected, eth0, 02:28:50

So I'm going to setup a vlan on the .6 router and take it back down just to see if that prompts OSPF to do likewise on that router.

There was low traffic on the .6 router so I pulled the core network interface down for a bit but it truly doesn't know any other route because traffic just totally died until I revived that interface again.
