Well you can wait.....
I think that you may be waiting for some time!
But you could compile 9.11.0 and install from source. Since Debian version 9.9.5 works in VyOS albeit with INSIST assertion failures (this thread messages passim), 9.11.0 ought to install and run. However, no guarantees.
BTW I compiled on live ERL-3's with traffic running though my traffic patterns are light.
I did post a message on page 4 of this thread about how I installed an earlier version of BIND9 but for my latest compilation, I used the configuration:-
./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --sysconfdir=/etc/bind --localstatedir=/var --enable-threads --disable-static --disable-atomic --with-randomdev=/dev/urandom --with-geoip --enable-querytrace --with-libtool
It does take a while to compile but at times of light traffic, it shouldn't matter.
Since I have had to add a new device to both isc-dhcp-server and BIND9 requiring a restart, my statistics will have been reset though this is my intervention and NOT a failure.
Incidentally although nothing to do with this thread and not Ubiquiti products, adding a new NAS device overloaded my UPS and my master switch failed in an odd manner which needed half a day's detective work to locate the actual half working device. Both the live ERL-3's continued to work without problems communicating.
