Updating /etc/dnsmasq.conf is racy and unreliable.
Is this known?
Will this be fixed?
root@erx:~# cat /etc/dnsmasq.conf # # autogenerated by vyatta-dns-forwarding.pl on Fri Nov 18 07:16:52 UTC 2016 # log-facility=/var/log/dnsmasq.log interface=eth0 cache-size=150 expand-hosts domain-needed domain=ubnt.lan,172.16.0.0/16,local no-resolv root@erx:~# logout ubnt@erx:~$ reboot now && exit 0
vs.
root@erx:~# cat /etc/dnsmasq.conf # # autogenerated by vyatta-dns-forwarding.pl on Fri Nov 18 07:22:52 UTC 2016 # log-facility=/var/log/dnsmasq.log interface=eth0 cache-size=150 server=192.168.178.1 # dhcp switch0 expand-hosts domain-needed domain=ubnt.lan,172.16.0.0/16,local no-resolv root@erx:~#
My config is in the other thread about radv and dnsmasq, posted two days ago.
