Re: Help turning VLANs into true "silos?"

Hey Jordan,

Pardon the delay.  Just to make sure I'm understanding and explaining myself well:

* Switch0 carries VLAN 6, 7 and 69 on eth4 which is connected to my AP.

* My switch0 says it has designated 192.168.2.x as its range, and while it's not specified in the VLAN config on port 4, I have SSID "elliot" setup (without VLAN specificiation) that works great and hands out 192.168.2.x addresses to wireless clients.

Screenshots:

* evilcorp - showing an example - that VLAN 69 is specified for this SSID

* elliot - showing no VLAN is specified but wireless clients on that SSID (elliot) receive 192.168.2.x addresses

* switch0 - showing that 192.168.2.x is the range managed by this switch

* switch0-vlan - shows that port 4 hands out VLAN 6, 7 and 69

Questions/TL;DR:

* With this config, none of the VLANs can talk to one another - is this expected behavior?  By everything else I'm reading, it seems like they should.  Note: I don't want them to talk to one another, but just want to make sure my config is tight/right.

Thanks,

Brian
