@poldim, Wait, so only wired devices don't work properly?

Here is my current state: (devices = clients)

  • Two VLANs setup: (3) Home Automation and (4) Guest [plus VLAN 1 where most of the devices currently sit]
  • One VLAN being used right now, (4) Guest - Since I cannot communicate to any other VLAN or subnet from outside of said VLAN or subnet, I can't move my devices to those VLANs or subnets.
  • I have both VLANs routed to all devices that need it.  Since I can't get communication to work, I'm not transferring any hardwired device, only UniFi APs.
  • Devices on the guest WLAN are routed through the (3) Home Automation.  There is a DHCP server on this VLAN.  I can connect to this WLAN receive an IP, and access the internet.  I cannot reach any other local items. This is not the desired result as I need to exchange info with the other subnets.
  • Devices on the HA WLAN are routed through the (4) Guest VLAN.  There is a DHCP server on this VLAN.  There are no issues with this network as I intentially want to island it from the rest of my network.

In UniFi do you have your guest WLAN actually setup as a guest network?  If so there are some isolation rules by default and you would have to make changes in the UniFi controller to be able to get to other local devices:
