I can sense that my ignorance of networking has baffled some of the users, and I don't blame you. Regardling your claim about addition of local firewall, are you referring to any default one that comes with variety of Windows OS'? I've tried Windows 10, 8.1 and 7, and they all seem to work just fine at this point.
My setup doesn't require any blocking of the hosts, sitting inside the LANs. I do not have a guest WiFi or DMZ. There is only one person who uses and owns all the devices -- me. Given that, why would I want to block different devices from reaching each other?
Can you elaborate a little bit more, if you wish, how my current setup makes absolutely no sense? Thank you.
